Maryland CASA Association: The Intersections of Childhood Adversity & Racial Trauma

April 1, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

$25

Join Maryland CASA Association for its virtual spring institute, The Intersections of Childhood Adversity & Racial Trauma. Spanish Translation Services will be available at all sessions. This all-day virtual institute hosted by Maryland CASA Association will bring together professional and volunteer child welfare advocates from across the state of Maryland and the country to engage in virtual training sessions focused on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), racial trauma, and cultural humility.

The virtual spring institute will explore how ACEs and racial trauma affect children’s interactions with their communities and the world and will support child welfare advocates and service providers in using a trauma-informed and racial equity lens when making decisions for children’s best interest. Maryland CASA Association will offer training credits to CASA Volunteers and CEUs for Licensed Social Workers for attendance at the virtual institute.

Early bird registration $20 per ticket purchased on or before 3/15/22. After that date, tickets are $25.
