Community Training: Talk Saves Lives

AFSP-Missouri Chapter, Franklin County OOTD Walk and Franklin County Cares are hosting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Talk Saves Lives event on Wednesday, 5/4/22 from 5:30-7:00PM at the Family Resource Center (500 Clark Ave. Union, MO 63084). Admission is free!

Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention is a community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide. Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide, and how to keep themselves and others safe.

According to registration, to enter or participate at any indoor AFSP event ALL participants must show proof of vaccination1 OR provide a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours of the event start time.1To be fully vaccinated, a person must have received both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer, or a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of the event, otherwise a negative test is required.
