Brown Bag Luncheon: Burnout & Compassion Fatigue, featuring Ryan Lindsay, Associate Professor of Practice, Brown School at Washington University. Burnout among child welfare professionals is at an unprecedented high due to high turnover, lack of resources and training, and support. This presentation will discuss the signs related to burnout and compassion fatigue, the impact of secondary trauma, and tools to help you plan and prepare to cope with your stressors. Join the conversation about how we can look out for each other and maybe lessen the frequency and burden of exhaustion in this work.
