Community Meeting: Prevent+Ed’s 9th Annual Legislative Forum

February 24, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Alcohol, nicotine, opioids, cannabis, and other drugs continue to have a devastating hold on communities in Missouri. Substance misuse affects millions both personally and professionally.  Prevent+Ed works to prevent and reduce the harms associated alcohol and other drug misuse through education, intervention and advocacy. Leading the conversation on this topic is vital to the work we do at Prevent+Ed.

Elected officials in the Eastern region and throughout Missouri will serve as panelists during this policy-oriented conversation. This is an ideal opportunity for officials to share their priorities on substance related issues and hear more about impact in communities.  The event will be a virtual town hall style meeting held via Zoom.

Prevent+Ed is committed to the power of prevention and uses evidence-based prevention strategies along with expertise in this field to remain committed to our mission of preventing and reducing the harms associated with substance misuse. Educating the community, reducing access to minors, and building resilient youth and communities are key in the work that we do.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required. Click HERE to register!
