Session #2: Breaking Barriers: Addressing Stigma and Supporting Rural Families Affected by Substance Use Disorders

Participants will:

  • Learn how stigma affects individuals with SUD and their families
  • Discover tools to advocate without judgment
  • Identify the unique challenges faced by rural families, from service shortages to stigma
  • Learn strategies to overcome these barriers

This series is hosted by the Opioid Response Network, so they will be handling registration.  Registrants should receive calendar invites for all four sessions, and the same Zoom link will be used for each session. I will be provided a list of attendees for each session so we are sure that everyone receives their continuing education credits. Each session will be 90 minutes long and include time for questions. All sessions are open for program staff and volunteers to attend.
